Database Scope:

  • The database primarily includes information about individuals who arrived in North America as the first family member.
  • It covers events up to around 1940 or a later death date.

Understanding Family Linkage:

  • In this database, individuals are linked by blood, not marriage.
  • The only report showing both the spouse and their family is the "Ahnentafel" report.
  • The image captioned "Ahnentefal Report" shows how you can access the report for persons.
  • Whenever doing a generational search over 3 generations, be it ancestors or descendants, always do so in Text” or “Ahnentafel” for best results.

Linking to a Spouse:

  • To link to a spouse, navigate to the individual's profile.
