Albert Henry Rodde of South Haven and Ruth Macauley of Blue Point and Brooklyn were married at the Kings Highway Baptist church in Brooklyn on Saturday, November 30, at 7 p.m. before a large congregation. The bride was attended by a maid-of-honor, two bridesmaids and the groom's niece as flower girl. The bride was dressed in white satin with veil, and a twenty-foot train and carried a bouquet of orchids.
A reception for 75 followed at Miss Macauley's home in Brooklyn. They enjoyed a short wedding trip to Washington and to Baltimore, the home of Mr. Rodde's father. The bridal couple is now at home at "Piping Rock Farm," South Haven.
