WILLIAM ROSE CARMAN
William Rose Carman, 58, died at his home in Port Jefferson Station, Saturday, of heart trouble, after several weeks' sickness. Mr. Carman was the son of the late Charles and Emily Carman and was a native of Brookhaven. Fourteen years ago he married Miss Emily Dorlon of Valley Stream, who survives him. For the past ten years he had been in charge of the Port Jefferson Station branch of Loper Brothers, lumber merchants. Funeral services were held at his late home Monday afternoon, the Rev A. F. Johnson and the Rev. G. M. Stockdale, officiating. Interment was made at Hewletts Cemetery Tuesday morning.
