Mrs. Kate Wilson Bennet, aged 84, of 543 Monroe street, Brooklyn, died early yesterday at her summer home on Yaphank avenue, Brookhaven. Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Bennet had spent the past 35 seasons in Brookhaven.
She leaves her husband, Joseph Edwin Bennet, former postmaster of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, postoffice; two daughters, Miss Edna Bennet and Mrs. Benson C. Smith, both of Brooklyn; a son, Richard W. Bennet of St. Louis, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Thomas T. Dillon of Jamaica.
the funeral service will be held at the Bennet home in Brookhaven at 2 p.m. tomorrow, the Rev. Howard Clark, rector of Christ Episcopal church of Bellport, officiating.
