Ailo, 73, of Yaphank avenue, Brookhaven, died Friday at his home after an extended illness. Born in Finland, Mr. Ailo had lived in Brookhaven for 15 years. He was a retired iron worker. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Ailo, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Aune Johnson, both of Brookhaven. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the C. W. Ruland Sons chapel here, the Rev. George K. Swartzfager, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Patchogue, officiating. Interment followed in Oaklawn cemetery, Brookhaven.
