• Notes

  Rosalie was not enumerated in George's household in the 1900 census, even though there was a servant who could have provided child care. Another ambiguity is that in the 1910 census she was recorded as a student in kindergarten which is incongruous with her age. The 1910 census entry indicates that Edith, George's wife, had had no children, therefore, it is unlikely that her age was erroneously recorded.
