Charles was commissioned "Commodore" in 1908 and appointed Superintendent 21 May, 1913 of the Volunteer Life Saving Corps. of America. Sinclair was first born. Siblings were Emily, Lillian E. , and Mabel. I don't know much of Sinclair. I think he was raised by Charles' sister Alice Buchanan Cox (Raynor) and her husband Smith Cox, who were childless.
