Mrs. Hannah Raynor is 87.
Wednesday, Mrs. Hannah Raynor, who lives with her daughter Mrs. C. S. Washburn, Green street, celebrated eighty-seven years of life. The old lady is bright and remarkably well preserved. She is a little deaf.
Mrs. Raynor was born at Fire Place, now Brookhaven, Long Island, in 1822, being one of six children born to Leverett Reeve and Catherine Brown. One brother is still living, David Reeves of Freehold, N.J., who is 79 years of age. She married tice, her first husband being Stephen Craft of New York. Of the five children blessing their home two are now living, Mrs. Washburn and Mrs. John Carman of Yaphank. Edward Raynor of Brookhaven was her second husband; and there was one daughter by that union, Mrs. George Nesbitt of Brookhaven. She also has a stepson, John Raynor of Brooklyn, who thinks as much of her as if she were his own mother.
