  Huldah may be the Huldah T. Hulse who accused the master of the ship Indiana of rape on a voyage from New York City to Bellport, NY 19-22 May 1840. While the unnamed master was convicted in Suffolk County Court, his indictment was subsequently "quashed" on appeal. See Nicholas Hill.
