- Children (Six):
(1.) William Woodhull Hedges, M. D., born September 6,
1790; married, January 5, 1813, Jane, daughter of
James English, of Monmouth County, New Jersey. She
was born November 15, 1793, and died May 8, 1856.
They had seven children, one of whom, Joseph Hedges,
was a physician, and Mary Ann Hedges, who married
the Rev. John A. Todd, of Tarrytown, New York.
(2.) Sarah Woodhull Hedges, born February 24, 1796; married,
March 1, 1831, the Rev. Abram Williamson, of
Walnut Grove, N. J., a graduate from the College of
New Jersey (now Princeton University), in 1818. He
died in the year 1869. They had no children.
(3.) Stephen Hedges, born February 15, 1798; married, April
27, 1824, Rachel Ann Baldwin. He died August 10,
1845. They had seven children: Elizabeth Hedges,
Sarah Hedges, Joseph Hedges, Mary Hedges, Francis
Hedges, Emma Hedges, Julia Hedges.
(4.) Henry Hedges, born January 26, 1803; married, September
21, 1830, Mary Ann Topping. They had three
children:
Charles Evart Hedges, (Rev.), born February 4, 1836,
graduated from the College of New Jersey (now Princeton
University), in 1855, and from the Princeton Theological
Seminary in 1858. He died July 10, 1860.

Jennie Hedges, married the Rev. George M. S. Blauvelt.
(5.) Mary Miller Hedges, born December 14, 1804, and died
(???).
(6.) Mary Elizabeth Hedges, born August 16, 1808; married,
September 28, 1837, the Rev. Ezekiel Quillan, of Ipava,
Illinois. He was graduated from Union College, New
York, and from the Princeton Theological Seminary in
1836.
