MISS ANNA KOST
Miss Anna Kost, sister of the late Frederick W. Kost, an internationally know artist, who was a civic and welfare worker on Long Island for many years, died of a heart ailment Thursday night at her home, 15 Arlo Road, Grymes Hill, S.I., after a brief illness. Her age was 87.
Bprn in Brookhaven, L.I., Miss Kost resided there for fifty-on yeArs before she moved to Staten Island several years ago. She was a member of the Brookhaven Literary Club and the Brookhaven Village Improvement Association.
Surviving are two cousins, Mr. and Mrs Arthur Kaufman.
Anna Kost was not born in Brookhaven, NY. She was most likely born in Brooklyn or Staten Island. Her parents lived in Brooklyn in 1860, and on Staten Island in 1870. She was most frequently known by her nickname, Minna.
