      A.R. Wisbeck Weds Nancy Hawkins

      Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Nancy Hawkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mason I Hawkins, and Mr. Arnold Richard Wisbeck, son of Mrs. William H. Wisbeck of Astoria, Ore., and the late Mr. Wisbeck, Friday evening [23 May 1952] in the Thomsen Memorial Chapel of St. Mark's Cathedral. It was a small family wedding.

      The bride wore an ankle-length gown of white silk shantung mad with cap sleeves, full skirt and madonna neckline. The veil was caught to a pearl and gold tiara. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley.

      Mis Patricia Hall, the only attendant, wore rose silk shantung made with full skirt and scooped neckline. She wore a cap of seed pearls and carried white flowers.

      Mr. William T. Wisbeck of Portland Ore., was his brother's best man. Ushers were Mr. Harry G. Willard and Mr. Allen Conzen.

      The bridegrooms mother and sister, Mrs. John Todd of Astoria came up for the wedding.

      A reception was held in the Hawkins home.

      For a wedding trip to California and Mexico, the bride wore a navy-blue silk suit trimmed in white and navy and white accessories.

      Mrs. Wisbeck, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Hawkins and the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Gaffney, attended Mills College, Columbia University and is a graduate of the University of Washington. She is a member of the Junior League. Mr. Wisbeck, who attended Wabash College in Indiana, and is a graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of Washington.
