Nelson, 88, of South Country Road, Brookhaven, died Saturday at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Born in Newark, N.J., she had lived in Brookhaven 46 years, and was the widow of Desmond Nelson. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ruth M. Smith and Mrs. Adele M. Wylie, both of Florida, and Miss Louise Revere Morris of Madison, N.J., and two nephews, Norman Nelson Riverhead and Alfred Nelson of Brookhaven. Funeral services were held Monday at St. James Episcopal Church, Brookhaven, the Rev. Richard Gray, Rector officiating. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, Bellport.
