His Godparents were: Allan Campbell Nelson (brother of his father Norman), Vireginia Ogden (known as Aunt Ginny, she was a sister of Norman's grandmother Emily Fairlie Ogden Nelson. She lived with the Nelsons in Flushing for many years. She died in 1917, age 67), Charlotte A. Nelson (wife of Horatio Ogden Nelson, a brother of his father, Norman).
