Final Appraisal Filed—Her Husband the Chief Legatee.
MINEOLA, L.I., Feb 14—The executors of the estate of Mrs. Ellen Whipple Hard, wife of Anson Wales Hard of the importing firm of Hard & Rand of New York City, filed their final accounting of the estate with Surrogate Graham her to-day.
Mrs. Hard died at her country home in Lawrence, L.I., on Jan 16, 1912, leaving, according to the accounting, an estate valued at $1,078,228.34. Of this $103,483.32 has been paid out, leaving a balance due of $974,745.02 yet to be distributed among the legatees.
Mrs. Hard's husband is the residuary legatee and the major portion of the estate goes to him.
