Mrs. Mary Reeve Dominy, wife of J. Kellogg Dominy, died at 7 a.m. today at her home in Woodland park, Bellport, following a week's illness of pneumonia.
Mrs. Dominy was born in Brookhaven [hamlet] 47 years ago, the daughter of Lillian Breckenridge Reeve, and the late Forrest P. Reeve. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, president of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Bellport Methodist Church, trustee and secretary of the official board of the church, and a member of the Bellport P.T.A., American Red Cross and the Women's Welfare club. She was a Patchogue High school graduate.
Mrs. Dominy would have been 48 years of age on Monday, when services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Bellport Methodist church, the Rev. Lewis Davis of Cutchogue and the Rev. Curtis Williams of Whitestone officiating.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Jeremiah Dominy, Charles Dominy and Tyson Dominy, all of Bellport, a brother, Charles Reeve, of Bay Shore, and her mother.
