• Notes

  He settled in the north-eastern part of Enfield, not far from what is now Shaker Village. He appears to have been an extensive landholder, and was amont the first holding the office of Deacon in the Congregational Church in that town. His grave and tombstone are to be seen in good condition in the burying ground, north of the central meeting house in Enfield.
