  Rev. David Pease and Austin S. Pease record: "Her name and marriage are found on the Somers Town records, and there are reasons for supposing she may have been the daughter of Daniel Pease. But there is no positive evidence of it. Dr. John C. Pease placed Parker Pease in this family. There is evidence to show he did not belong to it. Parker Pease lived in Somers; married Hannah Staple 1755, and had a son Parker, born at Somers 1756. The family afterwards joined the Shakers and lived with them for a time.
