  [In "Three Hundred Years ...." and the 1860 and 1870 censuses, she is referred to as Henrietta. However, from the 1880 censuses onward, Henrietta's name no longer appears, and instead she seems to have been referred to as Elizabeth. In the 1900 census, her mother is recorded as having had three children, all of whom were still living. It is therefore unlikely that there was a separate fourth child.] [Elizabeth's or Henrietta's middle initial varies from record to record, and I have therefore not included them here.]
