Toombs of South Country road were Mrs. Toombs brother, Ernest B. Barteau of Vancouver, B.C., and her sisters, Mrs. Ralph Waggoner of Oklahoma, Miss. Clara T. Mr. Barteau had gone to Alaska from Brookhaven in 1898 and was employed by the White Pass and Yukon railroad for more than 50 years.
