Henry W. Carman, 84 years old, died suddenly Friday morning at his home on Ryder avenue, Patchogue. Mr. Carman was born at South Haven, and lived there the greater part of his life. He was a farmer and at one time served the town of Brookhaven as Assessor. He retired some years ago and came to Patchogue to live about five years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Mabelle Carman of Patchogue; a brother, Robert Carman of Brookhaven, and a sister, Mrs. Timothy Carman of Amityville.
