(1.) John Floyd Marvin, born January 19, 1800; married
Amelia, daughter of Stephen Jayne. He died March
16, 1868. They had two children:
Floyd De Witt Marvin, born October 30, 1838, and died
January 17, 1867.
Sarah Frances Marvin, born November 12, 1832; married
Henry A. Sheldon, of Rutland, Vermont. They had two
children:
Floyd Preston Sheldon, born January 14, 1855; married,
October 15, 1884, Clara Belle, daughter of Charles
Mead, of Cornwall, New York. They had two children:
Marguerite Sheldon, born September 4, 1885.
Alice Marvin Sheldon, born March 19, 1887.
Mary Amelia Sheldon, born September 13, 1860.
(2.) Caroline Marvin, born May 20, 1803; married Walter Halsey,
son of Timothy Halsey. She died February 7,
1879. They had two children:
Harriet Halsey, married Henry Seely Brewster. They had
three children:
Mary Marvin Halsey, married Nathaniel Woodhull Howell.
They had two children:
Joanna Brewster Howell, born June 6, 1861.
Hezekiah Howell, born November 28, 1864.
(3.) Van Rensselaer Woodhull Marvin, born March 9, 1805;
married, December 13, 1835, Juliana, daughter of
Judge Nathan White and Fanny Howell. He died
February 11, 1856. They had six children:
John W. Marvin, born November 9, 1836; married Julia,
daughter of Henry Ford Moffatt and Mary Howell.
They had one child:
Ada Belle Marvin, born June 10, 1869; married, April 5,
1899, Edward S. Bull. They had two children:
Dorothy Bull, born December 2, 1900.
Marion Bull, born September 9, 1902.
Samuel Marvin, born September 12, 1838, and died March
23, 1881.
Elizabeth N. Marvin, born February 23, 1841; married
James A. Townsend. They had five children. She
died March 20, 1890.
Fanny W. Marvin, born April 4, 1843, and died May 22,
1845.
Albert Denniston Marvin, born February 8, 1847; married
Phoebe Wood. They had four children.
Fanny White Marvin, born March 18, 1849, and died
October 6, 1867.
(4.) Courtland Strong Marvin, born December 11, 1807; married
Melissa, daughter of James Duryea. He died July
28, 1886. They had one child:
William Halsey Marvin, born March 27, 1841; married
Anna Mary, daughter of Josiah Seely and Harriet Tuthill.
He died February 26, 1897. They had two children:
Harriet Seely Marvin, born June 10, 1872, and died October
6, 1872.
Fanny Woodhull Marvin, born April 26, 1878.
