Frank O. Ailo, 73, of Yaphank avenue, Brookhaven, died Friday at his home after an extended illness.
Born in Finland, Mr. Ailo had lived in Brookhaven for 15 years. He was a retired iron worker.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Ailo, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Aune Johnson, both of Brookhaven.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the C. W. Ruland Sons chapel here, the Rev. George K. Swartzfager, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Patchogue, officiating. Interment followed in Oaklawn cemetery, Brookhaven.
