  [S49] 12 Jan 1947, p. 23. William Schulmann, Sr., aged 57, a resident of Patchogue for 15 years, died Sunday morning while visiting friends in Hempstead. The body reposed at the Darmstadt Sons Funeral home in Glendale, after which a solemn requiem mass was said at 11 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales R.C. church, Patchogue. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Coram. Mr. Schulman, who was retired, is survived by his children, Mrs. Anna Katen, Mrs. Eleanor Andres, William, Jr., Louis and Joseph Schumann, all of Patchogue; Mrs. Marie Biersack, Rockaway Beach; brothers and sisters, Anthony and Alfred Schumann, May? Adler and Elizabeth Peters; and nine grandchildren.
