Miss Barbara Gertrude Kerr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kerr of Middletown, Conn., formerly of Bellport, and Robert Ellis Wayte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wayte of Brookhaven, were married in the bride's home on Saturday at 4 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George L. Withey of the Methodist church.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kerr of Middletown, Conn., formerly of Bellport, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Barbara Gertrude Kerr, to Robert Telleterri, son of Mrs. Ted Wayte of Brookhaven. They were both graduated from Bellport High School.

Edward Wayte, 77, of Edgar avenue, Brookhaven, died Saturday at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Born in England, he had lived in Brookhaven 37 years and was a retired printer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Brookhaven; a son Robert of Bellport; a sister Miss Phyllis Wayte of Amityville, and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Ruland Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester L. Haws, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Patchogue, officiating. Interment wasin Oaklawn Cemetery, Brookhaven.
