Walton of Bellport, aged 88, died at her late residence Friday. Born in New York city, she had lived in Bellport 46 years and was the widow of the late John D. Walton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ruland chapel, Patchogue, with the Rev. Ralph B. Gamewell [pastor, South Haven Presbyterian church] officiating. Interment was in Woodland cemetery, Bellport. She is survived by a son, William D. Walton, Brookhaven; and two sisters, Mrs. George T. Wilson of Brooklyn, and Mrs. Robert Moriarty of Greenwich, Conn. [S42] . The Walton family plot is located at the northeast corner of the cemetery.
