Iver Esperson, 72, of 131 Kingston avenue, Brooklyn, died last Wednesday at Kings County hospital, Brooklyn, after an illness.
Born in Brooklyn, he had lived there all of his life. He was a laborer. He is survived by his brother, George Esperson, of Brookhaven.
Funeral services were held at graveside in Oaklawn cemetery, Brookhaven, at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Albert H. Van Houten of the Brookhaven-South Haven Presbyterian church officiating. Funeral arrangements were by C. W. Ruland Sons, Patchogue.
