Hi My name is Patricia Ann Sweeney, nee Lee.
My mother was NancyGillespie Lee, third child of Michael Joseph Gillespie and Helena St. John Kearney from Ireland/Brookhaven. Michelle Rabitin forwarded your email about your research of the families of Brookhaven Hamlet and Oaklawn Cemetery.
I talked with my a few cousins and verified some information.
Beth Ann Keegan, daughter of Debra (Pusins) Ellis Cartwright, granddaughter of Ina Pauline Gillespie (Pusins) Ellis
George W. Pusins III, son of George W. Pusins Jr. and Ina Pusins Ellis nee Gillespie. His stone is a memorial stone. He was cremated and ashes are "buried" behind his father's headstone.
Byford Thompson Lee, Jr. (my brother), son of Nancy Gillespie Lee and Byford Thompson Lee Sr. (they are buried in Lee Memorial Cemetery in Lee County, FL) .
NB Nancy was actually a nickname that lasted her whole life. In the eighties searching for a copy of her birth certificate, "Nancy" found she was actually Annie Gillespie
In the family photo posted on one of the sights, Nancy is identified as Maney. At the time of Uncle Freddie's death when this apppeared in the LI Advance , I thought it was their typo.
I am happy to answer other questions regarding this project.
Pat
