Mrs. Adgienoora (sic) Dayton, 44, of 19 Swan River street, Patchogue, died last Wednesday at her home after an extended illness.
Born in Patchogue, she had lived here all her life.
She is survived by her husband, Harry W. Dayton of Patchogue, two sons, David C. in the Navy at Norfolk, Va, and Harry W., Jr., of Patchogue; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jett of Patchogue, and two brothers, Harry and Charles Jett, both of Patchogue.
The body reposed at the Pettit Funeral home in Patchogue until Saturday when funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist church, with the Rev. Coulson Shepperd, former pastor, and the Rev. John Reno, the pastor, officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn cemetery in Brookhaven.
