Chester Arthur, aged 52 years, died suddenly las night at his home on Brookhaven road in Bellport. Mr. Arthur was prominently known as a trainer of hunting dogs and had recently returned from Virginia where he had been engaged in this work.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Morrow Arthur, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Valentine of Miami, Fla., a son Theodore Lawrence Arthur of New York, and a sister Mrs. Herbert Winchester of Jersey City. Funeral arrangements are not yet complete.
