John Blake, 91, of Cedar avenue, Brookhaven, died at the Pine Rest Nursing home, Patchogue, last Thursday. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Blake lived in Brookhaven for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Julia of Brookhaven; a niece, Mrs. Ernest Plet of Patchogue; and several other nieces and nephews. A Rosary was recited at the Pettit Furneral Home, Patchogue, at 8 p.m. Friday and a mass was celebrated at the Mary Immaculate R.C. church, Bellport, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. George A. Rubley, pastor, officiating. Interment followed at the Oak Lawn cemetery, Brookhaven.
