Bancroft came by plane from Denver, Col., to attend the funeral of her mother, Mrs. William S. Wandel, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest A. Walbridge of Babylon. Mrs. Wandel made her home at the Hotel Margaret in Brooklyn. Funeral service was held at St. Bartholomew's church, Brooklyn, yesterday. Mrs. Bancroft will rejoin her family in Colorado for the remainder of their vacation.
