While this source indicated that Michael Dayton and Mehitable Doolittle were married in Waterbury, MA, it seems possible that this was a typographical error. No Waterbury, MA could be found in a modern atlas. Waterbury, CT is near to Watertown, CT, where the family resided.

Naomi was also known as Nancy. Children of Samuel and Naomi (Woodruff) Dayton, born in Watertown:
i. Fanny Dayton, b. 17 Aug 1787;
ii. Truman Dayton, b. 30 Jan 1792;
iii. Asenath Dayton, b. 28 Aug 1798, d. 17 Aug 1873 at Watertwon, m. there 12 Nov 1845 Asa Fenn of Middlebury, CT; and
iv. Samuel Glover Dayton, b. 6 Jul 1803.
