Michigan Department of State Division of Vital Statistics Certificate and Record of Death Number 745, Perry Township, Village of Morrice, Shiawassee County, Michigan. Angeline M. Simons, a widow, died 2 August 1898 of a strangulated hernia in Morrice. She was born in New York and was 77 years 11 months and 15 days of age. She was 23 year old when she was first married, and had had seven children, six of whom were still living. Her parents were Edward Sager and Elisabeth Dootle, both of whom were born in New York.
This death certificate has two dates for her death listed: August 2 and August 3. However the Medical Certificate has the 2nd, and indicates she was buried in Hinkley Cemetery on the 3rd.
