  Isaac was residing in Windham, NY in 1810. Isaac was “mentioned in 1809 in distribution of his mother’s dowry. It is probable he was the Isaac Doolittle who resided in Vermont in Oct., 1828, and signed petition to legislature. In 1834 he resided in Bennington, Co., VT, and petitioned legislature for a country poor house which was granted. He also petitioned same body ‘for an alteration of the law authorizing listers to tax persons for their faculty.’”
