A native of Halle, Germany, Mrs. Blume was noted in particular for her Long Island shore landscapes. She studied at the National Academy in Munich, and was an art teacher for many years. She was an organizer of the Associated Artists of Long Island. Surviving are her husband, Louis, and a daughter, Mrs. Katrina Walter of Babylon. [S10] .
