I am writing you because I am a descendant of the Reverend David Rose that is mentioned in your web article. But also because I am a descendant of a son of his that isn’t mentioned there. His name was Milford Barker Rose. I used to have in my position some pages from a Bible I believe were originally written by Milford’s daughter Eliza Rose Hollister. She was married to my great-great-grandfather Myron Hollister. In there were listed ancestors back to the reverend David Rose and his wife Hanna Mulford (sure sounds like they could have been the parents of someone named Mulford Barker Rose). Also the dates in the Bible as far as I recall match the dates documented in your web pages, especially the date of death for David Rose of 1/1/1799. The Bible pages were lost after my mother’s death 11 years ago but I have been able to re-document most of the information after I found information on the internet for Mulford’s wife, Joanna Reed. She lived in Amenia, NY and was the 5th generation of John Reed (1633-1730).
