Stirling, late of the Town of Brookhaven, County of Suffolk deceased, Send Greeting:
WHEREAS, Peter L. Stirling, residing at 164 VanSlelen [Van Skelen] St., Brooklyn, N.Y., Executor named in the will of said deceased, lately applied to our Surrogate's Court of the County of Suffolk to have a certain instrument in writing hearing date the 15th day of April 1938, relating yo both real and personal property, duly proved as the Last Will and Testament of the said deceased.

Isabela Stirling Kennedy was John B. Stirling's sister. An Elizabeth Stirling, on her death, was identified as John B. Stirling's wife; but Elizabeth was apparently not living in his household at his death.

The estate of the late Elizabeth Stirling has been appraised in Surrogate' Court at Riverhead [Suffolk County] at $17,300 gross, and no deductions are reported. John B. Stirling, husband, was to have inherited the entire estate, but he also died, leaving Peter L. Stirling as heir, according to the papers.
