John Harra died yesterday morning at his home on Second avenue, Bayport, at the age of 73 years. Mr. Harra had been ill for the past six months. He had made his home in Bayport for the past ten years, coming here from New York, where he was a city employee.
Mr. Harra is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise Harra; by three sons, Charles of Baldwin, Frank of Bayport, and John Harra, Jr., of Manhattan, and a daughter, Mrs. William Barry of Bayport. He also leaves three sisters and one brother, all of Manhattan. There are three grandchildren, Donald and William Barry, Jr. of Bayport, and Edward Harra of New York.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at the Bovertown Funeral Parlors in the Bronx, and interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, in the Bronx.
