At 5 p.m. Saturday in the South Haven Presbyterian church, Miss Alyce Lee Austin of Potsdam, became the bride of Russell O. Brown, son of Orlando Brown of Bay road. Mrs. Frederick Swezey of South Country road was the matron-of-honor for Miss Austin, and Frederick Swezey was Mr. Brown's best man. The bride wore an Alice blue silk crepe street-length dress with picture hat of pale blue and veil, and a corsage of white roses. Mrs. Swezey wore pale blue figured crepe with hat to match, with a veil, and talisman roses. The church was decorated with white flowers and ferns. The Rev. Charles Goldberg of Center Moriches, acting supply of the church, officiated.
The bride is a graduate of Potsdam Normal school and has been teaching in Lynbrook High school the past few years. Mr. Brown is connected with the American Bronze company of Garden City. A reception at the Better 'Ole, South Country road, Brookhaven, followed the ceremony. The couple will make their home on Bay road, Brookhaven.

MRS ORLANDO W. BROWN
Mrs. Laura Brown, aged 67, of Bay road, Brookhaven, died on New Year's day at her home after an extended illness. Born in New London, Conn., sh had lived in Brookhaven for the past ten years.
Mrs. Brown leaves her husband, Orlando W. Brown of Brookhave; two sons, Douglas E. Brown, Patchogue attorney, and Russell O. Brown, both of Brookhaven; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy M. Murdock of Brookhaven; two brothers, Milton S. Floyd and Douglas E. Floyd, both of Rockville Center; a sister, Miss Millie Floyd of Rockville Centre, and two grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brown home, the Rev. Harold Jones of Southampton, formerly of Bellport, officiating. Interment was in Woodland cemetery, Bellport.
