Born in South Carolina, Mrs. Lyons was the owner of Lyons Fuel Oil Company. She had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Bellport Garden Club, the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society, and was an elder of the Old South Haven Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Judith, of Bellport; a sister Kathleen Mahanna of Hoxie, Kansas; and three grandchildren.
