HUNTER—TURNER
Promptly after being graduated from the Army Air Force school at Lubbock Field, Texas, and receiving his commission and wings as a flyer, Second Lieut. Howard D. Hunter, son of Mrs. James Hawkins of Beaver Dam road, Brookhaven, was married last Sunday in one of the Lubbock post chapels, his bride being Miss Margaret Elizabeth Turner of Lowell, Massd. The ceremony was performed by a Catholic Army chaplain, with military ceremony, several flying associates of Lieutenant Hunter taking part, most of them members of his class just commissioned.

Lieutenant Hunter, a graduate of Patchogue High school, joined the Army about two years ago and trained at Fort Devens, Mass., from which he transferred to the flying service. Previously he studied air conditioning in New York. Lieutenant Hunter has been transferred to Bombardier section, School of Applied Tactics, Orlando, Fla., and he and his bride are residing in Orlando.
The bride, a graduate of Lowell High School, was employed as an inspector in a parachute manufacturing plant in Massachusetts.
