I have a well-marked copy of Lucius Hallock's book. You will note, p. 352, that Charlotte is not listed as a child of Henry,
nor are her (known) siblings, Anna, Loretta and Townsend. I copied the names of all of the children, in 1940, from a Hallock bible said to be owned by Charlotte (Hallock) Pullis, then in possession of Charlotte's granddaughter, Phoebe (Baldwin) Sprague, 1862-1944, of Islip. (G.G.) aunt Phoebe told me that, when the information for the book was (originally, think c. 1860s) being gathered, Sarah (Hallock) Hulse was at odds with the family and did not give the information about her brother and sisters. Within the family, she was always considered "queer" and had a penchant for pinching people! She was living in Bay Shore at her death in 1884.
I wrote an article for the REGISTER (Suff. Co. Hist. Soc.quarterly), Dec. 1977, Vol. 3, No. 3, 43-45, titled, "Unrecorded Hallock Genealogical Material," which included unpublished Hallock information written by an Elias Hallock about 19d given to Phoebe (Baldwin) Sprague plus the info about those left out, above.
Without the bible information (location now unknown) my Hallock descent would have been lost.
