HOYER—MICHELSEN
International interest was evinced in the marriage last Tuesday night at the Park Lane Hotel in New York, of Miss Inez Tenden Michelsen, daughter of Mrs. Rasmus Michelsen and the late Mr. Michelsen of 419 East 57th Street, to Thomas Townshend Somerville Hoyer, son of Sigurd Hoyer, of Oslo, Norway.
The Rev. Walter Duncan Buchanan officiated at the ceremony and a reception followed. ....
Aftr a wedding trip through Southern Europe, the young couple will make their home in Oslo. The bride is a graduate of Wellesley College and belongs to Tau Zeta Epsilon Sorority. She mad her debut in 1925 at the Hotel Majestic. Mr. Hoyer is a graduate engineer of the University of Zurich. He is a descendent of the Earl of Laudervale member of a Scottish clan whose castle is known as Thiristane, in Berwichshire.
Among the local guest were Mr. and Mrs. Alan Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nelson, Norman Nelson, Jr., Alfred Nelson, William Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Ogden Nelson of Flushing, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dominy of Southaven, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Huston, C. Conrady Vail, Alan Baker, Sr., and Alan Baker, Jr.
The bride has been a summer resident of Brookhaven, the family place Rossmore Hall on Railroad Avenue being the scene of many social activities when the late Mr. Michelsen was living.
