He is survived by his wife, Lottie of Brookhaven; a daughter, Mrs. Malcalm Shand of Blue Point; four brothers, Robert and Ernest of Bellport, Clarence of Maryland and Forrest of Massachusetts; two sisters, Mrs. Grover Bishop and Mrs. Louis Weidner, both of Bellport; and two grandchildren. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pettit Funeral home, Patchogue, with the Rev. Stuart W. Van Cott, pastor of the Patchogue Congregational church officiating.
