      Mrs. Bettina Carey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Greenley, of Brookhaven, and Philip Champlain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Champlain of Brookhaven, were married last Tuesday afternoon at the South Haven Presbyterian church by the Rev. Ralph B. Gamewell in the presence of members of the immediate families. The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by the Misses Faith and Phebe Champlain, sisters of the bridegroom. David McCutcheon, USN, of East Moriches, was the best man. The grandfathers of the bride and groom were both artists, being the late George Inness, Jr., and Malcolm Fraser. The two families have beemn friends for many years and are now next door neighbors. The bride's great-grandfather was the celebrated painter, George Inness.
