  Robert Sweezey comments: This is the William Sweezey referred to in "Genealogy of the Swezey Family - Long Island Branch" by Rev. Frederick Phillips Swezey, and attributed to the son of Joseph and Mary Betts who wrote letters from the Army at Saratoga in 1747 and 1748.
