Born in England, Mr. Last was a resident of Brookhaven for more than 50 years and was well known in this section. He served as Elder and Trustee of the Brookhaven-Southhaven Presbyterian Church and was custodian of the Brookhavden public school. Funeral services were held August 30 at the Brookhaven-Southaven Presbyterian church with the Rev. Ralph Gamewell, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Oaklawn cemetery, Brookhaven. Surviving are a son, George, and a daughter, Miss Anna Last of Manchester, Conn.
