Swezey, an aged resident of this place, died Saturday morning after an illness of about three months. He was a direct descendant of the original Stephen Swezey, who settled here in 1744, and he occupied a part of the original homestead farm, which from that time to this has never been in other hands than lineal descendants, and for more than a century and a half has never been conveyed at all.
