Born in England 67 years ago, he came to this country in 1887. He leaves his brother, Sir William James Ellis of manchester, England, his wife Jessie Amelia, and sons and daughters: Alfred W., and Charles H., of Medford and William J. of Astoria, L.I.; Mrs. H. Burroughs of London, England, Mrs. J. H. Hewitt of California, Mrs. George Stone of Staten Island, and Miss Queen Ellis of Medford.
